ENGINEER OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST

 

Land plan Engineering completed the preliminary engineering study spring 2007 and submitted the 'probable construction costs' to the WAM-SAG-MAN Trail committee. The document was updated September 2007 to reflect complete costs by phase after a request by Pottawatomie County Commissioners. The WAM-SAG-MAN Trail committee included the probable construction costs for Saint George Phase II and Wamego Phase II when they submitted a Transportation Enhancement application November 2007. Applications and projects were reviewed during spring 2008 by a KDOT committee. Neither projects were selected for funding by the KDOT committee. Due to reduced KDOT funding, only seven out of 31 projects submitted to the KDOT Committee were selected. The following cities had projects selected for funding: Lawrence, Mulvane, Shawnee, Topeka, Derby, Dodge City, and Olathe.
